OU Law Professors Promote International Engagement at Governor's Mansion

Last week, OU Law Professors Evelyn Aswad and Lindsay Robertson attended the 2016 Consular Summit Luncheon hosted by Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin. Consuls General from Germany, Spain, Panama, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Japan were in attendance along with Oklahoma government officials from the Governor’s cabinet, officials in the state legislature, and tribal governments as well as business leaders and academics. The Oklahoma Governor’s International Team periodically hosts Consuls General from throughout the world to strengthen economic and other ties between Oklahoma and other countries. “We were pleased to be part of an initiative to increase international economic and other opportunities for Oklahoma,” said Prof. Aswad.
